Today God wants to remind us of how powerful and awesome He is. He wants us to know that his hands are not tied. He wants us to know that we need to trust Him. I want to encourage you with the words of Ephesians 3:20 that says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Don’t sell God short. HE CAN DO THIS! Remember, “With men this is impossible but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
Each year can bring different events that may lead us to be discouraged, confused, and at times frightened. But today, God wants you to know that He not only did miraculous and wonderful things in the Bible, but He is still working and moving right now. He is a repeat way maker. For the word of God says in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”
God is famous at being a repeat way maker.
- God was a repeat way maker when he healed Miriam of leprosy as described in Numbers chapter 12. Jesus is a repeat way maker in healing. Psalms 107:20 proclaims, “He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.”
- God was a repeat way maker in battle and adversity. In 1 Samuel 17:45 and 50 David declared, “David said to the Philistine, ‘You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty…'” and verse 50 continues with, “So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.” In the same way today, Jesus is your repeat way maker against adversity because 1 John 4:4 declares, “…greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.”
- God is a repeat way maker to meet every need you have today. For Philippians 4:19 promises, “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Your circumstances, your problems, your issues, and even your disappointments are not new to God; they are not a surprise. But today, God is challenging you to take Him at His Word. For Psalms 34:8 declares, “O taste and see that the Lord is good…” God’s Word challenges you to try Him and to prove Him because HE IS A REPEAT WAY MAKER.
Today’s Praise: Lord Jesus, you are an awesome God. No one compares to you. You are full of strength. Thank you for being my repeat way maker. You have proven yourself over and over and over again. For this Jesus, I will trust you. Jesus, I will trust you even when I cannot see You. I will trust you even when I cannot see You moving. I will trust You even if I am in pain. I will trust You even if my situation does not change. I WILL TRUST YOU! I WILL TRUST YOU! I WILL TRUST YOU! Jesus, my eyes are on You.
