Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 and 2 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.” There is so much to the story and character of God. He is not just a being. In all of His power and creative abilities, He does not need to prove who He to the created ones. With God “All It Takes Is Nothing”. Genesis 1 verses 3 to 5 tells us, “Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day.”
“All It Takes Is Nothing”. Genesis 18:14 reminds us, “Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
“All It Takes Is Nothing”. Jeremiah 32:17 tells us, “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!”
“All It Takes Is Nothing”. The angelGabriel visited Mary in Nazareth and announced that she would conceive a son named Jesus. Mary, though a virgin, was concerned and confused because of this. Gabriel reassured her that this would occur through the Holy Spirit as he said in Luke 1:37 “For the word of God will never fail.”
From Jeremiah 32 and 27 to Matthew 19:26, all these passages confirm the omnipotence of God and His ability to achieve the impossible in accordance with His will and plan. (“Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.'” Matthew 19:26) (“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27)
I can testify and be a living witness in my own life that God has taken a nothing like Monica Michelle Kincaid and used this little stuttering, insecure, lost in her sins, country girl who loves Jesus
and drew her to Him for His glory and kingdom agenda—-“All It Takes Is Nothing”!
So, this is our encouragement, our praise report on today is to make much of Jesus, trust Him, increase your faith and increase your hope in the God who “All It Takes Is Nothing”!
