To go “All The Way With Jesus” means you commit your life to Him. You are committed to learning of Him, living for Him and obeying His word. A life that is “All The Way With Jesus” will refuse to believe and live as the world does. For those who refuse to believe and live as Jesus did it says in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, “For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”
If we are going to go “All The Way With Jesus”, our focus should be Christ and not people. Everyone will not understand your walk with Jesus. Paul reminds us in Galatians 1:10, “For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? for if I pleased men, I should not be a servant of Christ.”
To be a person who is “All The Way With Jesus”, you must believe and trust Him in the good and bad times. In Hebrews 11:6 it says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Even when you and I were dead in our sins, Christ gave His life for us. God has now made us alive in Christ Jesus. That within itself should persuade you to go “All The Way With Jesus”.
Search myself and go deeper: What am I waiting on to go all the way with Jesus? What situation or person is holding me back from Jesus? What is stopping me from surrendering? I will go to the Lord in prayer and ask for His help. If I have decided to go all the way with Jesus, I need to remind myself to daily die to my flesh. I need to continue to be in His Word and in His presence. My life is not about me but about the One who gave His life for me.
