The Thought For Today

Encouraging You Through God's Word

When you think about the hard places in your life, what comes to your mind? Is it a person? Maybe it’s a specific event. Because we live in a fallen world, it is difficult for each of us to fully understand why we experience trials and tribulations. The only comfort we have is what is found in God’s word. So, how will you respond, “Even in the Hard Places”?

“Even in the Hard Places” God is still good. Psalm 145:9 says, “The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.”

“Even in the Hard Places” God is full of mercy and grace. David says in Psalm 145:8, “The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.”

“Even in the Hard Places” God will make a way. Hebrews 10:35 reminds us, “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!”

As followers of Christ, what we experience does not diminish who our God is. God is not less than if we face a sickness. God is still able even if He does not answer our prayers in the way we think He should. “Even in the Hard Places” our heartbeat should always be glory, glory, glory to the Lamb of God!
