Think about this….
Daniel being thrown in the lion’s den for obeying God,
Abraham would take his son, Isaac, to be a sacrificed in obedience to God,
Joseph betrayed by his brothers, thrown into a pit, tried to be seduced by a married woman and then thrown into prison after God had shown him he would be 2nd in command over Egypt,
David the son of a shepherd boy, ordained to be king by God but was in hiding because people wanted to kill him,
and then there is Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane facing the cross.
All of these great men and our Savior, Jesus, knew the God they served. They had confidence in Him! In spite of their current circumstances and situations they gave God the glory. They stayed obedient to his commands and His will. You and I must do the same thing. We must remember that in Luke 11:28 it says, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
I know things look bad and there are problems, trials and all kinds of tribulations, but give God the glory.
I know what you are facing may be hard and rough but give God the glory.
I know you are in pain and the doctor has given you his professional opinion but give God the glory.
I know you are discouraged and questioning what is going on but give God the glory.
I know you are hurting and confused but give God the glory.
You must remember Romans 8:28 that says that all things work together for your good so GIVE GOD THE GLORY!!!!!!!!!!
“Give God the Glory” Praise: Most Gracious, Heavenly Father, I give you the glory. You are so worthy of my praise. You are strong in battle. Nothing is too hard for you. Nothing can stand against you. Everything must bow to you. You are my creator. You have proven to be my friend. Lord, I surrender my life, my problems and every situation to you. I will trust in You. You are faithful. You are trustworthy. Lord, I will not lean to my own understanding but my eyes will forever be on you and your word. In Jesus’ name, amen!
