The Thought For Today

Encouraging You Through God's Word

There is no need for us to believe that things in our lives will not get better. You should by no means think that the battles in your life will never cease. In no way should you and I think that God is powerless to intervene in our situation. We should never think that God is not concerned about us. Psalm 147:4 and 5 encourages us about our God. It says, “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.”

I urge you to remember that “God’s Got One More Move” before you give up on your current circumstance. “God’s Got One More Move” in dealing with that rebellious child. The financial hardship is being placed in the hands of the God whose got one more move. Our adversary, the devil, cannot stand and will not last against the God whose got one more move. These statements within themselves are worthy of our praise and trust!

You know all through the Bible, God had one more move. If we consider the life of Abraham and Sarah, they would testify that “God’s Got One More Move”. God promised Abraham that he would make him a father of many nations.  In the flesh, this was impossible, but God had one more move and Isaac was born. In the Garden of Eden, we have Genesis 3 where Adam was disobedient to God’s commands and chose to eat of the forbidden tree. This disobedience caused sin to enter the world and thus separated us from God, but God had one more move! In Romans 5:19 it says, “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.” Adam locked us up, but Jesus set us free because God had one more move.

Because we serve the only true and living God and a risen Savior, God continuously has one more move. When you think the door is closed, “God’s Got One More Move”. After the doctor has done all he knows to do, “God’s Got One More Move”. With Jesus on your side regardless of how things may look, you will always have another chance, another opportunity, another way out, and another move. Be encouraged today and throw all your faith and trust in the One who’s got you because “God’s Got One More Move”.
