The Thought For Today

Encouraging You Through God's Word

The word “stop” can be described as to cease from any motion or course of action. Imagine Jesus not ceasing from being compassionate towards you. Think for a moment that Jesus is fully God and he never stopped being committed to redeeming the world. Have you ever thought about how Jesus was gentle when handling certain people and situations? Jesus’ life proved to us how to be self-controlled when he was faced with Satan’s tactics and with people who were against Him. Jesus’ characteristics demonstrated that “He’ll Stop at Nothing”!

“He’ll Stop at Nothing” to love you. Romans 5:8 reminds us of God’s love. It says, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

“He’ll Stop at Nothing” to confirm that he is longsuffering. 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

“He’ll Stop at Nothing” from being our Savior. Even though Jesus knew that every person would not accept Him, He still finished the job of dying on the cross for you and me. Acts 4:11-12 reminds us that, “Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

“He’ll Stop at Nothing” to fight for you. Life is hard. People are cruel. As Christians, this is not a walk in the tulip garden. I want to encourage you that if Jesus could live this thing called life so can we. Remember that Romans 8:31 proclaims, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

If you have breath in your body, a willing heart and mind to serve the one and only true God, Jesus will stop at nothing to redeem and save you!

“He’ll Stop at Nothing Praise Report:

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, thank you! There are no words to express my gratitude for your ultimate sacrifice you made on my behalf. Lord, I am in awe over the fact that you will stop at nothing to make sure I am the person you have created me to be. There have been so many times when I could not understand why certain things had to happen. But in your time, I began to understand that it all worked out for my good and for your glory. Thank you for stopping at nothing to love me. Thank you for stopping at nothing to ensure that I have a peace of mind. Thank you for stopping at nothing to defeat sin and death. Lord, I thank you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
