Oftentimes we forget who God really is. Because we live in our flesh, we allow our feelings and our circumstances to dictate if we will actually trust God or not. Each of us at times, have forgotten that God is faithful to His way and His Word. Today’s encouragement is for the person who needs to be reminded that “He’s Still Here”.
“He’s Still Here” even when you are in the valley. If you are alive and breathing, then you have been in the valley. We can find comfort in the words that David penned in Psalm 23:4 that says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
“He’s Still Here” when all hope is gone. We all have had experiences when people and situations have disappointed us. We can be thankful today that because God still reigns and He is still in control, we can have hope in Him. Psalm 39:7 reminds us, “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.”
The enemy of our souls depends upon what we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, and feel with our feelings to dictate the truth of God and His Word. The lack of visible evidence does not negate God’s relevance. The fact is that God’s truth remains unchanged simply because He is God. He is real and significant! When life has you spiraling out of control, remember who God is and what He has done before because “He’s Still Here”.
