The word “lose” can be described as deprived of or cease to have or retain (something). Many if not all of us are far too familiar with the word lose. We have lost our keys, the remote control, or our vehicle in a huge parking lot. Depending on what you have lost, this experience is never fun. To lose someone or something can be difficult for our minds to process. We will at times focus on the negative aspects of what we have lost. But I want to encourage you today that you did not lose!
I know the relationship ended but “I Didn’t Lose”. Romans 8:28 promises, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
I know I was let go on my job but “I Didn’t Lose”. Philippians 4:19 promises, “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
Remember that God’s viewpoint on lose and our human viewpoint are completely different. When we view our circumstances from the lenses of the scripture, you and I can shout, “I Didn’t Lose”.
