Has the Lord ever told you, “I Got This!”? I know in my own life He has said this to me so many times. When I think about those conversations and that situation, God would always give me a command after the reassurance.
God says, “I got this! Now TRUST me.” We can be encouraged to know that when we read God’s Word, that He is trustworthy. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”
God says, “I got this! Now BE STILL.” Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
God says, “I got this! Now DO what I told you to do.” In Matthew 7 verse 21, Jesus warns us by saying “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.” We need to obey God above all else. John 15:16 simply says, “If you love me, obey my commandments.”
Whatever the command is from the Lord today, do it. You do not need me or anyone else to confirm what God has already told you to do. Now, it is up to you and to me to trust God at His word and obey Him because God says, “I Got This!”
