Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the right or proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
All of us are faced with challenges in our lives where we feel as though we want to give up but we must “Push Through The Dirt”. This dirt represents your life.
For the sinner or those who are outside of Christ, it will be impossible for you to fight alone and win because you have no advocate, no staying power, no rock-like Jesus Christ. But for those of you who have made a confession of Christ and are followers of Jesus, YOU CAN WIN. In 2 Timothy 2:3, we are encouraged to endure hardships like a good soldier for Christ so “Push Through The Dirt”.
No matter what is going on in your life you must remember, there is nothing too for hard for God as Jeremiah 32:27 tells us. Regardless of your family, disappointments, your job, children, friends, hurt and pain we must learn to “Push Through The Dirt”.
When you know WHOSE you are, He will empower you with His strength to “Push Through The Dirt”.
“Push Through The Dirt” Prayer: Most gracious, heavenly Father, I thank you that you are powerful. I thank you that there is nothing too hard for you. You are BIG! Jesus, you are full aware of what is happening not only in the world but in my own life. Jesus, I need you. Please fix the broken places. So many times, Lord, I tend to take matters in my own hands thinking I can fix it. It turns out that I make things worse. Give me the wisdom to know when to be still and when to move. Help me to surrender my cares and burdens to you. I look to you, Jesus, to do only what you can do-heal, deliver, restore and make every crooked way straight. Even when I don’t understand what you are doing, I will trust you so have your way. I look to you to do a work in me. Jesus, strengthen me so that I will honor you in all I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
