As human beings we tell a whole lot of stuff. We tell lies about people; we tell what we think is the truth, we talk about things we know and sometimes things we don’t know anything about. But when was the last time you told someone about Jesus? When was the last time you told something that had meaning and spiritual implications? When was the last time you testified to what Jesus did when you trusted Him? Today, “Tell It!”.
What does it truly mean to have a testimony about what Jesus has done? A testimony means to have an open declaration or to profess something. You have a testimony. Your testimony might be something of shame to you that might be “hush hush” in the community. Your testimony could be something that is no secret. Whatever the case may be…“Tell It!”. When you testify, it really is not about you at all, but about the ONE, Jesus, who was and is able to do all things by HIS power so “Tell It!”.
Everyone who came into contact with Jesus and was healed had a “Tell It!” in their spirit. Matthew 9:27-31 describes the 2 blind men that came to Jesus wanting to see. After Jesus had healed them he told them in verse 30, “…see that no man know it. But they spread his fame in all that country.” They had a “Tell It!” in their spirit. Mark 7 verses 31-37 describes how Jesus healed a deaf and dumb man. After healing him, Jesus said in verse 36, “And he charged them that they should tell no man but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it.” They had a “Tell It!” in their spirit.
You and I cannot be ashamed or afraid to tell a dying world the source of our joy, our deliverance, our healing and our peace so “Tell It!”. For the word of God warns us in Luke 9:26, “Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.”
You and I are living testimonies. My story is not your story. My deliverance may not be your deliverance. Don’t sit on God’s goodness. You can’t be silent about what the Lord has done for you. You must “Tell It!”. Revelation 12:11 reminds us, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”
You have a testimony in your mouth so “Tell It!”.
