Each of us at some point in our lives has fallen victim to society. We agreed with society on beauty standards. We co-signed on their acceptance of what marriage is. Many of us have catered to the pressures of all forms of idolatry. I want to jog your memory of one simple verse in 1 Timothy 4:12. As Paul reminds Timothy and us as well to remember who we are. Verse 12 says, “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
Who are you by how you talk?
Who are you by the way you live?
Who are you in the way you love?
Who are you by the way you demonstrate your faith?
Who are you by your purity?
You are the only person who can answer these questions. I encourage you to search yourself to know if you are living and abiding by the standards of Scripture. Each of us are called to be like Jesus. So, “Who Are You?”
Great message to put our lives into perspective by looking through a Godly lens!
