The word “testimony” means a witness on behalf of something; an open declaration of faith. That something and declaration of faith is Jesus Christ. You and I are witnesses on behalf of the one who ransomed us. Psalm 22:22 says, “I will praise you to all my brothers; I will stand up before the congregation and testify of the wonderful things you have done.” My sister and my brother, “You Have A Testimony”.
As a witness for Christ, you are to announce to the world about your testimonies. Our testimonies are our trials, tribulations and deliverances. But they are more than the bad, hard times. We have a testimony to tell about the goodness of the Lord. Psalm 35:28 reminds us, “My tongue will declare your righteousness and praise you all the day long.” Furthermore, we are testify about how Jesus has delivered us through every situation.
Because of the sacrifice that Jesus has made, we not only have victory but we are living testimonies. Only through what Christ did, you are an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of your testimony. Don’t keep silent…”You Have A Testimony”.
Search yourself and go deeper: What is my testimony? Jesus rescued me from _________? How can I use my past to lead someone to Christ? How can I use my testimony to encourage someone else that is going through what Jesus delivered me from?
